Mahdi Yahya, also known as Mehdi Yehya (مهدي يحي), is the Founder of Peace of Art (PoA) and Chairman of its International Committee. His work is driven by a deep commitment to addressing segregation and violence through the transformative power of education and art.
With a background in graphic design and humanitarian activism, he uses creativity to foster peace, unity, dialogue and cross-cultural understanding.
Through Peace of Art, he leads and supports initiatives that bring together arts, education and peacebuilding, including Art Against Discrimination and Arts and Culture in Peacebuilding, promoting dialogue, inclusion and coexistence across communities.
