Peace of Art Founder - Mahdi Yahia - Attends SPD Summer Gathering in Dresden

Dresden, Germany – Monday, June 16, 2025 – The founder and International Board Chairman of Peace of Art, Mr. Mahdi Yahya, took part in the summer gathering of Germany’s SPD Party in Dresden at the invitation of Mr. Abdulaziz Bashouri, Head of the SPD’s Foreigners’ Group in the city.

The event featured a meeting with H.E. Petra Köpping, Minister of Health and Social Affairs in the Saxony government, along with the Head of the Ministry’s Violence Prevention Projects Department. Discussions focused on violence prevention, peacebuilding, and intercultural exchange.
During the session, Mr. Yahya extended an official invitation to Minister Köpping to visit Lebanon and learn more about Peace of Art’s initiatives in this field. He also held constructive conversations with former Minister Martin Dulig, as well as with artists and school directors.
