Harriet is a passionate advocate for refugee rights and community empowerment. While pursuing her Geography degree, Harriet has dedicated her time to supporting refugees in Belgrade, Edinburgh, Calais, and beyond. With Peace of Art, she played a pivotal role in helping local youth enhance their English skills. Harriet designed and developed an English learning curriculum and booklet that was used widely in our training programs. Harriet remains an advocate against injustice.

Tejas visited Peace of Art and volunteered to provide children and young people with a wonderful experience of building communication & acceptance through sports & football. His activities created a safe space for young girls and boys to speak up, share about their community & learn to accept others who are different. The programs designed by Tejas focused on the local identity and culture, creating ownership for young participants.

Masaki led Origami training to share his expertise on the the Oriental Qanoun musical instrument. Masaki has enriched our programs with Japanese cultural sessions His passion for fostering cross-cultural understanding shines through in his design and implementation of the programs he implemented, bringing together diverse backgrounds. Masaki's involvement in developing our Musawat booklet showcased his commitment to promoting equality and understanding in Lebanon.

Rachel has been a true asset to our team. From leading engaging art sessions for local youth to spearheading Training of Trainers sessions for teachers, Rachel's contributions have been invaluable. Her expertise in participatory research and digital design has supported our outreach efforts, while her contribution in program design and planning has been instrumental. Rachel's practical approach and dedication have made a tangible impact on both our programs and the community.

Andreas is a passionate and dedicated volunteer from Austria, joining us through Graz University. During his in-person internship (March to April 2024), Andreas brought extraordinary energy, care, and insight to our programs. With a background in philosophy, he led impactful trainings for young participants on negotiation techniques, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving and the concept of “me and the other against the problem.” His expertise enhanced our evaluation systems, reporting, and digital presence.
