Peace of Art President Joins Youth Leaders in Regional Dialogue

Beirut – July 14, 2025Vera Mawla, President of Peace of Art, joined youth leaders from Syria and Lebanon in the second session of #YouthTalks, a regional dialogue series dedicated to empowering young voices in fragile political contexts.

The session, held under the banner of peacebuilding and inclusion, highlighted how young people are increasingly taking the lead in advancing civic engagement, bridging divides, and fostering resilient communities.

Speaking alongside youth representatives, Mawla emphasized the vital role of collective action in creating sustainable change. “Young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow – they are the changemakers of today,” she noted.

#YouthTalks provides a platform for young activists, community leaders, and innovators from the region to share experiences, exchange solutions, and strengthen cross-border collaboration. Organizers stressed that such dialogues are key to promoting mutual understanding and advancing inclusive development, particularly in societies facing political and social challenges.

The initiative reflects a growing recognition that investing in youth leadership is central to building peace and ensuring more inclusive futures for the region.
