What we do?

Art Exhibitions and Events: We organize art exhibitions, cultural events, and workshops that showcase the work of local and international artists and youth. These events provide a platform for artists and young leaders to express their creativity and identities while inviting the community to engage in meaningful conversations about peace and social issues.

Community Outreach Programs: We believe in the power of art to make a positive impact on individuals and communities. Through our outreach programs, we collaborate with local schools, community centers, authorities and NGOs to provide art/sports workshops and projects for underprivileged young people and marginalized groups. These programs aim to empower individuals, boost self-confidence, and promote social inclusion.

Advocacy and Dialogue: Peace of Art actively engages in advocacy and meaningful dialogue on various topics, including peacebuilding, conflict resolution, interreligious and intergenerational dialogue, citizenship, women empowerment, youth and climate change, and environmental activism. We collaborate with community members, CSOs, municipalities, teachers, trainers, coaches, and other stakeholders to foster understanding and promote positive change.

Research and Publications: We conduct research, including participatory action research, to better understand the issues affecting our communities and inform our programs. We also produce resources and publications for CSOs, trainers and young people, providing them with valuable insights and tools for personal and social development.

Partnerships and Networking: Peace of Art is an active member of the United Network of Young Peacebuilders, Alliance for Peacebuilding, and the MENA Coalition for YPS (Youth, Peace, and Security). We also collaborate with the national working group on Freedom of Religion and Belief in Lebanon and participate in the network on WPS (Women, Peace, and Security). These partnerships and networks allow us to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and amplify our impact.
